Óttar Sveinsson

Óttar Sveinsson was born in Reykjavík on 14 October 1958. He graduated from Hamrahlíð High School in 1978. He worked in Höganes and Helsingborg, Sweden, 1980-81, and worked and studied in Copenhagen 1983-5. In 1988 he became a journalist on daily DV, where he remained until 2003. At that time he laid the foundation for the 15 books he has written, one each year since 1994: true-life thrillers about real events. (bron: Icelandic literature)
